Dear HBM – It is Don Lindh, touching base with you again.  I read this article supporting crossbows in the NRA’s American Hunter Magazine.  I was glad the NRA printed it and was pleased with their supportive response.  The guy that sent in the letter is so far off base I thought you might like to see the NRA’s response.  I don’t’ write to magazines about my position on various issues, but this really ruffled my feathers.  The only difference between vertical and horizontal bows that I can see is the horizontal is pre-drawn.  As I have said previously, I have hunted extensively with vertical equipment prior to becoming disabled.  If it were not for crossbows, I would not be able to bowhunt; needless to say, I’d like to see the crossbow made legal for archery season in all states.  Thanks for fighting for us crossbow hunters.  Don Lindh - ND
