Dear HBM - Second night of bow season here in Wisconsin, I got two shots off with my TenPoint crossbow. Six bucks and two does came out into the hayfield anywhere from ten to thirty yards away. My first shot at a six point missed that 15 yards. I usually don't miss, but I think, I did not aim carefully. Dumb on my part! Funny thing is all the deer just stayed around. I have a crank built into the stock on my TenPoint. Without using the engage on the crank, I slowly got my hand crank handle out and put the crawl on the string and started to crank the string back. When it engaged I took the crawl off and stuck it into my pocket and slowly put an arrow onto the bow. While I was doing this an eight point buck step out on to the field 25 yards away. The bow came up, I took very careful aim and the buck went down. All the deer took off after the second shot. I don't think this will very happen again! With all the eyes and ears, the deer didn’t even spook. It was a miracle.
